On Friday, November 17th, we are organizing an extensive workshop on fashion photography in the areas of editorial +amp; commercial together with fashion photographer Nadine Wuchenauer.
The workshop will take place on Friday, 17.11.2023from 2 pm in the Creator Studios in Düsseldorf.

Pleasenote that there is no parking available on site. So if you come by car, it's best to use one of the parking garages in the area.

The two demonstrative elements of the workshop will be streamed live on YouTube and can also be viewed there afterwards. This gives everyone the opportunity to learn the theoretical +amp; content presented. Participants who were there on site can refresh what they have learned afterwards.
however, the focus is particularly on giving all participants the opportunity to implement what they have learned directly on site and to get further tips +amp; tricks from Nadine. The necessary equipment is also provided and a [s-t-r-r-o-n-g]Sony expert will help participants on site with technical questions.
Definitely! Not only will you have the opportunity to ask questions on site, but you will also be given time +amp; equipment to put what you have learned into practice yourself in the set-up and with the model.
Nadine will help you with questions and give further tips +amp; tricks to make the pictures even better!
In addition, a Sony expert will be on site to advise and support all participants with technical questions about the Sony equipment.
All participants will receive a personal memory card on site so that the pictures can be taken home directly.
Of course, the most important aspect should not be forgotten: Only on location is there the opportunity to network with other photographers and learn from each other.
You do not need to have your own Sony camera to participate on site . However, one of the purposes of the workshop is to get to know and try out the different cameras +amp; lenses from Sony.
So if you are thinking about getting into the Sony system or upgrading your existing Sony equipment, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to test the different models.
The fee for participation on site is 49€. At the end of the workshop, each participant will receive a Foto Koch voucher of the same value.

14:00 - 15:00: Reception / Welcome
15:00 - 16:00: Part 1 - Introduction, Differentiation Editorial +amp; Commercial, Editorial-Shooting (LIVE)
Here Nadine first goes into the theory of editorial +amp; commercial photography and explains target groups, planning and the relevance of one's own style or brand as well as example projects. in addition, she discusses the technical aspects, such as the right choice of camera and lens and, of course, lighting and various lighting techniques.
16:00 - 17:30: Editorial photo shoot with Sony equipment under Nadine's guidance (ON-SITE ONLY)
During this time, participants will have the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge they have just learned together with Nadine and experiment with various Sony cameras and lenses.
17:30 - 18:30: Part 2 - No-Go's, Posing +amp; Light, Commercial Shooting (LIVE)
The second "theoretical" part is about avoiding no-go's, tips for presenting clothing and different poses, lighting or perspectives.
18:30 - 20:00: Commercial photoshoot with Sony equipment under Nadine's guidance (ON-SITE ONLY)
During this time, participants will again have the opportunity to work on location.
20:00 - 21:00: After-Work Networking (optional)
If time permits, we will end the evening together - although we also have a pretty cool old town...
Nadine Wuchenauer is a published fashion, beauty and commercial photographer based in Düsseldorf, Germany. At the age of 19 she started her own business in photography and graphic design. She has worked for clients such as Dunkin' Donuts, Tamtam Beauty by Tara Tut, Zoeva, Essence and Welthungerhilfe. She uses her experience in advertising agencies to create target group oriented, timeless photography. In her work, she places particular emphasis on harmonious, modern concepts that put the person in front of the lens in the best light.
She has also already been on assignment for Foto Koch with two live workshops for the PHOTO DAYS in June 2023. On the one hand it was about slightly different image details in portrait photography and on the other hand about the perfect cooperation with the model.
