The high-performance macro lens Macro APO-LANTHAR, which was specially designed for the high-resolution sensors of full-frame cameras with E-mount, is considered one of the best lenses in Voigtländer history.

Even at open aperture, the 10-blade lens offers outstanding optical quality with excellent bokeh. Its optical design ensures a high standard of quality from infinity up to the maximum reproduction scale of 1:2.

The apochromatic correction (correction to three, not just two colors), symbolized by the three colored slashes on the Lens, almost completely eliminates chromatic aberrations. The electronic integration makes it very convenient to use with E-mount cameras. Distance and focal length data are transmitted, providing the camera's 5-axis stabilizer with the required information and automatically switching on the viewfinder magnifier during adjustment. The EXIF data also facilitates the evaluation and correction of the images in image processing.
