The Plustek OpticFilm 8100 - successor to the OpticFilm 7400 - shines with new hardware improvements and optimized adaptation to SilverFast® 8 software. The scanner has an optical resolution of 7200 dpi. Improved LED lighting makes color reproduction even more accurate. The two one-touch function buttons make scanning particularly convenient and also make it easier to upload images directly to Flickr, Facebook, Picasa or similar portals.

Compared to conventional flatbed scanners, the Plustek OpticFilm 8100 is especially characterized by its small footprint. Due to its small dimensions, the scanner can be comfortably placed on any desk. The OpticFilm 8100 can be conveniently stowed away or taken along thanks to the transport bag included in the scope of delivery.

The OpticFilm 8100 and SilverFast software are a perfect combination of hardware and software. SilverFast Multi-Exposure® extends the dynamic range. This eliminates noise and improves the visibility of details in dark areas. SilverFast NegaFix® has over 120 negative template types, enabling the best results for negative to positive scanning.

Bundled with the OpticFilm 8100 is the latest version of Lasersoft Imaging's professional imaging software, SilverFast 8. The new WorkflowPilot ® guides the user through all steps of the scanning process.
