  • Carbon tripod
  • 90° center column system
  • maximum strength with particularly lightweight components

The new 055 carbon tripod with 3 leg extensions offers maximum strength with particularly lightweight components - a technical masterpiece for photographers who need a powerful and easily transportable tripod. The 100% carbon tubes and the new quick-release system of the legs increase the torsional rigidity of the tripod, dampen vibrations and thus ensure excellent stabilization of the camera equipment even in difficult conditions. Carbon tubes and magnesium castings also reduce the weight of the tripod compared to the aluminum version.

A special feature of the 055XPRO3 is the 90° center column system. In addition to the vertical extension, it also allows the tripod to be moved horizontally, offering you amazing possibilities when shooting. The 055XPRO3 is an extremely versatile tripod and is suitable for a wide range of different photo and video applications. The mechanism for flipping the center column to horizontal is integrated into the tripod shoulder and can be extended quickly and easily when needed. The center column can be repositioned from vertical to horizontal without having to laboriously unscrew the tripod. Even the camera can remain attached to the tripod.

The individual legs of the 055XPRO3 tripod can be extended, individually adjusted and securely fastened extremely quickly using the quick-release leg locks. Thanks to the special design of the quick-release fasteners, you can operate the individual fasteners comfortably and securely with one hand. The special design of the quick-release fasteners enables even more powerful fixing of each leg extension. The tripod is therefore more stable and rigid than tripods with conventional leg locks. With the intuitive and ergonomic adjustment of the angle of the legs, each individual leg can be quickly and easily fixed in one of the preset positions.

A bubble level is integrated in the upper part of the center column, which helps you to precisely adjust the image section. The bubble level can be rotated freely around the center column. When setting up the tripod, it can therefore be easily moved into a position that is easy for you to see, without the view being obstructed by a head or camera or the controls for the head or camera being in the way.

The tripod shoulder of the 055XPRO3 has an Easy Link connection for attaching photo and video accessories (e.g. LED continuous light, flash unit, reflector or other equipment) to an extendable arm or bracket. This allows you to transform the tripod into an extremely practical, mobile studio.
