Kowa 77mm spotting scope with XD objective lens. Superior performance in a compact body.
The performance and compactness of these spotting scopes is unmatched in this class. The body is waterproof to JIS protection class 7 and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent fogging inside

The PROMINAR TSN-773/774 models use an XD objective lens with low dispersion characteristics to minimize chromatic aberration. It is equipped with Kowa's established dual-focus system. The fast focus with a large and sensitive responding knob focuses from infinity to five meters in two rotations. The smaller extremely sensitive fine focus knob guarantees extremely precise focusing even at high magnifications. A feature that is also extremely important for digiscoping.

By combining an XD lens (eXtra-Low-Dispersion lens) with a concave lens with special dispersion properties, chromatic aberration is very much reduced.

Please note that an eyepiece is required to use the spotting scope.
