  • Hoya polarization filter
  • reduces light reflections from non-metallic surfaces
  • improves saturation
  • can be used with film and digital cameras

The Hoya UX II is the new edition of the Hoya UX series. Hoya UX II has UV and CIR-PL filters.

"UX" in the name of the series stands for "User eXperience" to refer to the experience the user can have with these filters and everything that goes with them. With the name UX, we want to offer users better individual experiences in all activities related to photography.

It is common knowledge that circular polarizing filters (CIR-PL) are used to reduce light reflections from non-metallic surfaces. The maximum point is usually the most commonly used position of the CIR-PL filter when reflections are to be reduced. However, there are cases where the reflections need to be increased or adjusted according to the photographer's intention. In this case, we can say that the CIR-PL filter is not used to reduce the reflections but to control the reflections.

CIR-PL filters can also improve the saturation of the sky and the leaves of the trees by reducing the light reflections of the tiny drops of moisture and dust that are in the air. This emphasizes the white clouds and increases the overall contrast of the image.

The UX II CIR-PL filter can be used with both film and digital cameras. The polarizing filters are constructed so that there is a polarizing film between the two glasses, and the front frame can be rotated so that the polarizing film can be positioned at the desired angle.

The threads on the edges allow other filters and lens caps to be attached to it. The slim frame of the UX II CIR-PL ensures that no vignetting occurs with wide-angle lenses.
