  • EVO - The evolution of the Cokin CREATIVE filter system
  • Filter holder
  • suitable for: P-series (size M) - 48 to 62 mm
  • Filter diameter: 84 mm
  • modular system
  • high-quality, robust and yet lightweight

EVO is the evolution of the acclaimed Cokin CREATIV filter system.
At the heart of the new EVO product range is the modular filter holder for filter discs. Cokin is thus responding to the needs of demanding photographers and once again demonstrating its unique expertise in the camera filter segment.

Modular system
Compatible with almost all existing filters and adapter rings*
High-quality, robust and yet lightweight
Filter thread for screw-in filters
Light-tight finish

Cokins EVO filter holders are high quality and robust without being uncomfortably heavy. The feel immediately conveys the feeling of holding a quality product in your hands, which is also reflected in the materials used. The front and rear panels are made of aluminum. High-quality polyamide slots, which you can combine individually, allow the simultaneous use of up to 3 filters. In addition, you can also influence the filter thicknesses up to 4 mm and adjust the filter holder accordingly.

To prevent unwanted light from reaching the subject, Cokin has attached special "foam masks" to the individual components. This keeps the light away from the subject and nothing stands in the way of impressive long exposures. Speaking of long exposures: are you familiar with COKIN NUANCES mineral glass filters? Our recommendation for high-quality ND and ND graduated filters.

Can be combined with screw-in filters for perfect landscape photos
Another feature of this filter holder is the screw thread that has been milled into the front plate of the filter holder. The EVO Cirkular Pol filter, for example, which will soon be available as an option, can be screwed in here. But other screw-in filters with a diameter of 95mm are also possible. This allows you to easily and effectively combine ND filters or ND graduated filters with polarizing filters. By loosening the four brass screws, you can configure the filter holder and use just one, two or even three filter slots. Then screw the holder back together and devote yourself entirely to your photo project.

You already own the Cokin filter system?
If you already own a Cokin filter set, you do not need to buy new adapter rings and filters* for use. This is because both filters* (with a few exceptions) and adapter rings can be easily used with the new Cokin EVO filter holder.

*The following filters are not compatible with the EVO filter holder:
