Powerful autofocus of the Canon RF 100-400mm
The Canon RF 100-400mm has a Nano USM motor, which makes for quiet, fast and smooth autofocus. Reliable autofocus is essential, especially in wildlife and sports photography, but also in other applications where subjects move quickly and unpredictably.
Razor-sharp photos
The Canon 100-400mm is also impressive when it comes to image quality. Even without a tripod, the Lens always achieves razor-sharp photos with its Optical Image Stabilizer for 5.5 exposure stops, UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass and high-quality Super Spectra coating. Even steady handheld video recording is possible without any problems. A great advantage if you don't always want to carry a tripod with you!

The aperture consists of 9 rounded aperture blades. Although the f/5.6-8 aperture is relatively a bit slower, the 9 rounded aperture blades still create a nice and even bokeh, and not just for close subjects.
